THE AQUATIC CENTER

The CRC boasts one of the best aquatic facilities in the nation. Originally built for the 1996 Olympics, the aquatic center was enclosed for year round use and now consists of a competition pool with stadium seating, a state-of-the-art diving well, spa, a leisure pool with a waterslide and current channel, as well as an outdoor patio.

Home to Georgia Tech's men's and women's swimming and diving teams, the aquatic center is also the facility for classes, sport clubs, intramurals, camps, and area swim, dive, synchro, and waterpolo team practices. In addition to the '96 Olympics, the CRC's aquatics facility hosted the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in 1995, the Georgia State Games, and the 2005 Men's and Women's ACC Swimming & Diving Championships.
