Aquatic Center Lifeguards

The Georgia Tech Aquatic Center is an Ellis & Associates Lifeguard facility. The lifeguard staff is required to hold the E&A certification and attend in-services where guards work on skills such as backboarding, active/passive victim rescues, and many team-building games and activities. Lifeguards are also required to swim a weekly workout. Lifeguard applications are taken year round, and hiring usually occurs at the beginning of each semester. View Certification Information
