Who is Eligible?Learn to Swim

CRC members and non-CRC members (community swim).  The minimum age for participation is five-years old AND in Kindergarten.

How to Register:

Choose type of class.  Both adult and youth classes are offered for each of the below.

Group lessons
Typically, six participants per instructor. Participants will get four 30-minute lessons. Summer lessons are week long Monday through Thursday unless otherwise stated. You must register by the first day of class.

*Session 4 will be $30 per participant for three classes.

Private lessons (upon request)($60 per participant):
One participant per instructor.  The instructor will teach to the swimmer’s ability and will utilize progressive learning.  Participants will get two thirty-minute sessions.

Semi-Private lessons (upon request)($40/$35 per participant):
2-3 participants per instructor. Participants will get two 30-minute lessons. 

Register on-site at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center (Member Services desk), online through myCRC, or in advance by faxing in registration materials.

In-person payment
Payment for classes can be made at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation, Member Services department during open hours of operation.  Fall semester hours are as follows: Sunday, 12pm to 12pm; Monday-Thursday 5:30am to 12pm; Friday, 5:30am to 10pm; Saturday, 9am to 10pm.  Please know that hours of operation are subject to change as a result of holidays or semester breaks.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and the BuzzCard (Institute ID).  After the first day of class, refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Once payment and registration materials are received CRC members will enter the facility with a receipt.  However, for non-members, passes will be issued and available for pick up at Member Services. 

 

Fax payment
Payment for classes can be made by fax.  First, complete the required registration form.  Once the form is complete, please fax (to include payment information) to 404.385.0734 with attention to Jennifer Pecoraro.  A confirmation/receipt will be sent within two business days once payment is made.  For non-members, swim passes can be picked up from Member Services the day of lessons.  The Member Services department can be reached at 404.894.PLAY.

  • Payment for private or semi-private lessons can be paid in-person at Member Services.

Other notes:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for swim lessons.  Registration and payment is required before entry to class is allowed.
