The Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) is hosting the annual Halloween Holla 5K Run & Walk on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 7:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged at this event, so all ghosts, ghouls, and walkers are welcome!
Registration is free, and available online through mycrc.gatech.edu. Onsite registration will also be available on race day, however, all participants must register by 7 a.m. All members of the Georgia Tech community are welcome to attend this event, including; students, staff, faculty, alumni, and affiliates. Additionally, you don’t need to be a member of the CRC to participate.
Race check in will open at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, October 27. Arrive early to increase your chances of winning a Halloween Holla t-shirt! The first 100 students to check in the morning of the event will win a free t-shirt. Those that choose to wear a costume may enter the costume contest for a chance to win a Yeti cooler. Finalist photos will be uploaded to Facebook, and the costume that receives the most likes will take home the prize. The winner will be announced on Halloween!
Runners and walkers will convene in front of the CRC at 7 a.m. to prepare for the race, which begins at 7:30 a.m. The race will follow the Tyler Brown Pi Mile through campus.
