Interfraternity Council Rules & Standings

All fraternities on the campus of Georgia Tech are permitted to register a team in a fraternity division and will be placed in the fraternity playoff bracket (if applicable) so long as they are in good standing with the Georgia Tech Greek Affairs Office and not on intramural probation (via judicial review or the CRC).

This is a transition year. Results from Fall 2012, Spring 2013, and Fall 2013 will all be calculated into the Dean Dull winner for 2013. The following process will be used for intramural scores:  50% of total points earned will be used in the calculations for Fall 2012 and Fall 2013 semesters, respectively.  Spring 2013 points earned will not be impacted.

The Point System

Each eligible fraternity will get credit for their team earning points in a sport.

Under no circumstances will more than one (1) team earn points in the same sport.

Eligible fraternities are those in good standing with the Georgia Tech Greek Affairs Office and not on intramural probation through judicial review or via the CRC.

The exception to rule #4 is if all fraternity divisions are full during the fraternity registration period. In this case, fraternities will receive the same point system as long as they register their fraternity (using their official fraternity name) in an independent division. Fraternities will not receive points if they sign up in a housing or graduate division.
