Georgia Tech's Campus Recreation Center is in its second year as the two-year tournament host to the National Intramural Basketball Championships. The CRC will be host to 64 of the best intramural basketball teams from around the country. Teams will qualify for automatic bids at state championships and eight regional championships: University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Arizona, Oakland University, Boston University, University of Iowa, Texas A&M University, University of Maryland, Washington State University. The remaining spots will be filled on a first come-first serve basis.
The Championship games will be held at the Alexander Memorial Coliseum at McDonald's Center. Team and individual awards will be given to the tournament champions and runners-up in each division. Games will be officiated by the top student officials in the nation. It will be a weekend filled with the best intramural basketball in the nation.
