CRC POLICIES
- In order to use the Campus Recreation Center, you must be a current member and possess a valid BuzzCard. A valid BuzzCard includes proper identification picture, name and assigned access.
- Guest passes are REQUIRED for non-members wanting to use the facility. Current members can purchase a pass for a guest and must stay with the guest at all times. A member may sponsor two guests per day.
- All minors, 17 years or younger, must be accompanied by a current member at all times. There is no charge for bringing minors into the building, as long as the minor is of the same immediate family as the member.
- The CRC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please be certain that your belongings are locked up while you use the facility to ensure safety.
- There are locks available in the second floor vending machine behind access control. Please lock all items in day lockers, if you have not purchased a personal locker.
The following rules and regulations have been instituted for your health and safety.

- All individuals exercise at their own risk. We recommend seeing one of the fitness staff prior to starting a training program
- If you experience lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea, or any other discomfort, please stop your workout and seek help immediately.
- We recommend using a “spotter” to assist when lifting free weights.
- If you need assistance, ask a Fitness Attendant.
- Do not drop weights (i.e. plates & dumbbells) on the floor. Always maintain control while exercising.
- Proper training attire must be worn at all times (specifically, shirts and close-toe athletic shoes). Long pants, jean shorts/cutoffs are prohibited. Mesh tops are not allowed. Belts are not to be worn on any weight machines, benches or seats.
- Replace all dumbbells and plates on the appropriate racks when finished. Never rest any weights against walls, on the floor or on top of the benches.
- Food, open-drinks, gum and tobacco products are NOT permitted. (No cups or glassware)
- Report any damaged or broken equipment to Fitness Attendant or Building Supervisor.
- Report any injury or facility/equipment irregularity to the appropriate CRC employee.
- Respect for equipment, facility, and other patrons must be demonstrated at all times. Inappropriate behavior will result in expulsion and/or loss of additional recreational privileges.

- Workout towels are required for each individual using the cardio equipment. Use the towel and disinfectant spray provided to wipe down equipment.
- Proper training attire must be worn at all times (specifically, shirts and close-toe athletic shoes). No jeans or jean shorts are allowed. Clothing that does not cover torso need to be tight-fitting. Mesh tops are not allowed.
- Food, open-drinks, gum and tobacco products are NOT permitted. Water bottles with lids are only permitted. (No cups or glassware).
- Limit your time to 30 minutes on all cardiovascular machines during peak hours.
- Report any damaged or broken equipment to Fitness Attendant or Building Supervisor.
- Store all belongings in a day locker (bring your own lock) or on the shelves provided. CRC is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
- Report any injury or facility/equipment irregularity to the appropriate CRC employee.
- Respect for equipment, facility, and other patrons must be demonstrated at all times. Inappropriate behavior will result in expulsion and/or loss of additional recreational privileges.

- The Auxiliary Gym can be used during the free times by anyone for any activity.
- The court is first come first serve and can be occupied by a group for a one hour time limit.
- The only area used for skating in the CRC in addition to hockey, soccer, dodgeball, and handball.
- By checking out any equipment from Equipment Issue, you assume all responsibilities of returning the item in good condition or else a fine will be assessed.
- Our Assistants check-out all equipment before issuing, however, to prevent a wrongful charge please double check the equipment yourself and notify the Assistant that there is a problem.
- Please do not sit on tables, or move any furniture from its current place.
- Please report all malfunctions to the Assistant at Equipment Issue 4 immediately.
- All equipment for the Game Room is to be checked out from Equipment Issue 4.
- No wheels of any kind of the track.
- Follow the directional signs as posted on the track.
- Slower traffic should stay in the inside lanes (to the left).
- Courts can be reserved one at a time, up to 48 hours in advance for one hour on the hour
- You must claim your reserved court within 15 minutes of your hour reservation. Once the 15 minutes have passed, anyone may check out equipment and use the reserved court.
- Please inspect all equipment during check out.
- Only courts #1-4 are used for racquetball and wallyball.
- Wrist straps must be worn at all times.
- Protective eyewear is strongly recommended.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn.
- If you choose not to abide by these guidelines, you will be asked to exit the courts.
- Court #5 is for squash play ONLY.
- The same rules apply for squash courts as for racquetball (wallyball) courts.

This field is for Georgia Tech students, faculty and staff. All others without a permit will be asked to leave.

- Only students and faculty/staff members of the CRC may utilize the Tennis Center.
- Everyone must show ID at the door. NO ID, NO ENTRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- No black soled shoes are allowed, tennis shoes/sneakers only.
