March is known for many things - Earth Day, St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of spring! This month is all about transformation and the shift into warmer days and longer nights. Transform yourself and check out some of what the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) has going on for the month of March!

We are hiring for summer positions! If you are a Georgia Tech student looking for your next on-campus job the CRC is looking for you. With over 300 student staff the CRC provides a fun and flexible environment for you to earn resume building meta-skills and connect with other Tech students in a variety of different roles. Challenge yourself at the Pi Day 5K Walk/Run. All members of the Georgia Tech community are invited to participate in the Pi Day Run/Walk. You do not need to be a member of the CRC to participate! The 5K is a great way to stretch your legs and enjoy the warmer weather this March. For event information go to crc.gatech.edu/piday.

For the adventure seeker, outdoor recreation offers a variety of trips and gear rentals throughout the month of March. Trips include backpacking, vertical caving, cascading, rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking. All trips include gear rental, instructions, and transportation, not to mention an expert guide to take you on the journey. These trips are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, and alumni. You can also venture out on your own with equipment rentals at the Wilderness Outpost. Get your group fitness on with a group fitness pass! Group fitness classes are a great way to change up your workout and take the guesswork out of your exercise routine. Plus, the CRC has over 27 different classes to choose from each week. To purchase your pass visit mycrc.gatech.edu.

Throw your next pool party at the CRC. Who said you can’t throw a pool party before Memorial Day. Party reservations include full use of the Crawford Pool, adjacent locker rooms, spa, current channel, water slide, and lap lanes in accordance with pool rules. In addition, lifeguard supervision, life jackets, toys, tables, and chairs are provided during all pool party reservations. For more information check out crc.gatech.edu/parties.
