Matthew Marcus
|
A native of Virginia, Matt discovered the beauty of Georgia when he began his 1995 Appalachian Trail Thru-hike on Springer Mountain. He returned to Georgia 2 years later to be a counselor at a Wilderness Therapy Program in the North Georgia mountains. After Graduate School at GC&SU in Milledgeville, Matt returned to Northern Virginia to manage on of the most popular University Outdoor Programs in the country. After 5 years, Matt realized he was living too close to the Mason-Dixon Line. He is energized to be back in Georgia and thrilled to be a part of one of the nation's most successful and well-established Outdoor Programs. In his free time, Matt enjoys geocaching, hiking, biking, and boating with his wife and young son.
