WOMEN IN THE WILDERNESS (WIW)

This joint program between ORGT and the Women's Resource Center is a great way for Tech women to get involved in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Several “women-only” outdoor activities and outings are offered throughout the year, so keep an eye out for the next event. We hope to see you there!

Women's Climbing Night

Cost : Students & Non-students - $3

Description:
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. The Women's Resource Center and Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (ORGT) are teaming up to offer you an evening at the CRC Climbing Wall. Come join us for this "all women's" program. We will provide everything you need including, gear and instruction, just bring yourself. We will be teaching in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

NOTE: You can pay for the fee UPSTAIRS at the CRC front desk "membership services", then bring the reciept to the wall. You should pay with a credit card or a Buzzcard. They do not take cash. WIW Caving Class and Trip

Cost : Students, $20; Non-students, $30

Description:
Hey ladies, join us for a caving trip in the North Georgia mountains! This guided, underground experience with other women from Tech will give you a great challenge, an opportunity to make new friends, all while learning new skills. This trip will be a lot of fun and will give you a chance to try something adventurous. We provide a learning environment that is supportive and non-competitived. We will teach you everything you need to know and supply all the needed gear.

Beginners are welcomed and encouraged!
