Sport Club Council
The purpose of the Sport Club Council is to serve all clubs by providing resources and as an advisory group for the Sport Club Coordinator. The members of the Sport Club Council will focus on the following areas:
-
Make recommendations on admitting clubs to the Sport Club Association
-
Develop and promote Sport Club Council social functions
-
Recommend fundraising opportunities for sport clubs
-
Develop ways to increase participation and communication between all sport clubs.
-
Serve as the Appeals board for sanctions handed down from Sport Club Staff.
-
Advise the Sport Club Staff on policy development and implementation.
One member from each sport club team will be represented on the council. This member does not need to be the president of each club, however, it should be an active participant in the club (another officer or a member who would one day like to be an officer). Council members meet once a month.
