Summer Camp Kids enjoying SprinklersSki Trip at Steamboat, COSummer Camp 2005

Ski Season is looming...
THINK SNOW!!

PLANE PACKAGE
The plane package includes the flight, six-night stay at the Lodge Condos, a four-day lift ticket, and the shuttle (transfer) bus from the airport to the resort and return. There are a limited number of seats, so it is first come-first serve. We cannot guarantee more seats.

Be advised that the airline industry has changed their business model regarding the number of checked bags. AirTran allows one checked bag free of charge, with size and weight limitations. The charge for a second checked bag will be $20 paid at the airport. The charge will be $50 for each bag checked after the first two bags. They will allow skis/snowboards, poles, and boots as one checked bag.

GROUND PACKAGE
The ground package includes a six-night stay at the Lodge Condos and a four-day lift ticket. This means when you purchase the Ground Package, you are responsible for your own arrival to the condo. The GT shuttle bus is only available to those who purchase the Plane Package.

KIDS SKI FREE PACKAGE
Steamboat's Kids Ski Free program entitles children 12 years of age and under to ski free the same number of days as their parents or grandparents. The adult must purchase a five-day (or more) lift ticket along with their respective plane or ground package; the child's cost are the following: (GROUND PACKAGE...GT only - $360; Community - $410 and PLANE PACKAGE...GT only - $755; Community - $805).  These costs increase by $50 respectively if registration occurs after October 1st. One free child ticket per paid parent or grandparent.  Proof of age may be required for all 11 and 12 years olds and kids who appear that age to the ticket agent.  This offer is on a one-to-one basis with one free child ticket per paid parent, and does not include any rental costs.

AIRPORT
Once in Denver, we will have a chartered bus/shuttle to take you to Steamboat. The trip is approximately 3.5 hours from Denver, depending on weather. You will need to check with the Georgia Tech chaperones to find out where the bus/shuttle will depart. Please collect your luggage and go directly to the bus. The bus will leave no later than one hour after the plane lands in Denver. These seats are reserved for our group only. The flight shown below is on AIRTRAN AIRLINES.

These must be completed and returned with the other registration materials. This is a requirement for the trip.

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT
There is a $375.00 deposit on the plane package with the balance due by October 31st. If paying for a ground package, a complete payment of the total amount is due upon registration.

REGISTRATION & REFUND DEADLINES
The registration and full refund deadline for the Plane Package is October 13th. Ground Package registration will stay open though November 21; however the last day to receive a refund on the Ground Package is October 31 (Ground Packages can be transferred).

We can provide partial refunds on the Plane Package. Should a refund request be submitted between October 14 - October 31, all but $75 will be refunded. Beginning November 1, we cannot provide any refund to cancelations.

ACCOMMODATIONS/MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
We will all be staying at Lodge Condos. All condos are individually owned. This means some are different as far as configurations as well as amenities. This trip is based on Maximum Occupancy. For example, a 6-unit condo has two bedrooms with either a double bed or two twins and a pull out couch that sleeps two. All spaces must be full. If an individual would like their own bed/room, an additional fee of $313.00 can buy each open space. Remember that all units with a double bed must be shared. There is a 99.9% chance you will have to share a room/bed. Specifically, we have two bedrooms (sleep 6) and three-bedroom (sleep 8) condos.

You can take your lift ticket along with $10.00 and trade it in for an all day Never-Ever Ski Lesson. This is the best deal around. It is encouraged that all of you who have not skied to take the lesson. This includes those interested in snowboarding.

CHECK-IN
You will be able to check-in upon your arrival on Saturday, December 13, 2008. At check-in you will receive a key, lift ticket, and travel packet. Also, a charge card will be needed for each room as a damage deposit.

PAYING FOR THE TRIP
You will be able to charge the entire trip at Member Services in CRC or by filling out the Credit Card Payment Form and faxing it along with the Sign-up Form to the CRC (404.894.9981 fax).
