General Information
We don’t look at ages rather grade levels. Camp is open to rising 1st through 8th graders. Our CIT program is open to rising 9th and 10th grade students.
DROP OFF each morning is done on Tech Parkway behind the CRC. Please look for the Orange Parking cones and the counselor on duty each morning directing drop off. Please have your children exit your vehicle on the right hand side to avoid traffic. PICK UP is at the same location. Please have your CAR NUMBER displayed on your dash board so we can expedite the pick up procedure.
There is a link on the camp website with a more details on the location of DROP OFF/PICK UP.
Registration for the camp is held on line ONLY. Visit www.crc.gatech.edu/summercamp
We are sorry to say that parents are not allowed to attend field trips with the camp.
Just about every day we swim. We do know children enjoy swimming and we make our best effort to get them pool time each day but sometimes field trips or special events preclude us from daily pool visits.
No. The camp is for the direct children or grandchildren of Georgia Tech employees or students. Since the camp is partially subsidized by Georgia Tech we require the campers to be direct children or grandchildren of employees or students.
Each day we will provide lunch for the children and an afternoon snack prior to them going home. If your child has certain eating allergies or there are foods/ingredients you do not want your child to have please let us know.
No. We ask that out of fairness to the other campers that kids do not bring money to camp or field trips.
You are most certainly welcome to attend lunch any day with you child that we are on campus. In the event you join us we do ask that you do not purchase additional food or snacks for your child.
If you need drop your child off early there are a few things to remember. First, please alert the camp. When you arrive to drop them off the normal drop off location will be closed and locked. You will need to come to the front Members Services desk of the CRC. No parking is provided for late drop either. You are on your own and must obey all Parking Regulations. The Member Services Desk will confirm our location upon your arrival and direct you where to bring your child. If you need to pick up your child early from camp please give the camp directors early notice so that we plan on where and when you will meet us to get your child. The only times when early pick or late drop can and will be effected are on field trip days. We ask that you have your child on time when the field trips are scheduled. We can not wait for late campers when departing for certain trips.
