FITNESS CLASSES

Buzz into fitness with our group classes, where you’ll feel the energy of a hive working together towards a healthier lifestyle! Enjoy the camaraderie and motivation that come from working out with others, making your fitness journey more fun and effective. A Group Fitness membership is required in addition to your Campus Recreation membership to participate in the classes.

Pass Sales

Passes are available for a one time fee of $49. This gets you access to as many classes as you wish for the semester!

Refund policy on Fitness programming

Refunds for the group fitness pass and group fitness day pass will not be provided under any circumstances. For more information on Georgia Tech Campus Recreation’s Refund policy, please click the link here.

Special Program Outreach Requests

Everyone can benefit from attending a fitness class, but we understand that sometimes, fitness sessions need to be brought to your space! By offering a group fitness class at your next function or as a “well-being break” for your department, your group will reap the rewards of reduced stress, increased appreciation for your organization, and increased morale.

Cost: $50/hour

Student groups are eligible for complimentary first-time use. Campus departments receive a 25% first-time use discount.

Group Fitness Instructor Prep Course

Join our exciting prep course opportunity designed to hone in on your skills to become a leader in the fitness world! Over the course of seven days, you’ll dive into the physicality of teaching, mastering everything from musicality and strength training to yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and more. Each session is packed with hands-on practice, ensuring you gain the skills needed to lead engaging and effective fitness classes. By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to audition for a group fitness instructor position, with the chance to mentor and teach in two different formats. Don’t miss out on this chance to elevate or start your fitness career—secure your spot today and get ready to inspire others!

CLASS TYPE LEGEND

Combo – Various exercises designed to combine elements of cardio, strength and mind-body conditioning.

Cardio – Physical exercise of low to high intensity that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up for a prolonged period of time.

Strength – Solid foundation of exercises that work each part of your body building muscle and physical endurance

Mind/Body – A form of exercise that combines body movement, mental focus, and controlled breathing to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall health.
