The Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) does not experience the same volume during the summer as it does during the academic year. This is precisely why a summer shutdown is an opportune moment for the CRC to close its doors and get to work upgrading, maintaining and polishing its state-of-the-art facility to prepare for students return in August. Therefore, the CRC will be closed August 5 through August 13, 2017.
The entire building will close for a week for projects that otherwise could not be completed with patrons on the premises.
There will be three wellness walks this summer, including treks to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, Sweetwater Creek State Park, and Red Top Mountain State Park. Each walk begins at 7:30 a.m. and costs $10 per person.
